Quiche

  • pie crust
  • salami
  • eggs
  • ​cream
  • grated cheese (Gruyere  or other)
  • ​parsley

  1. Bake pie crust according to directions 
  2. Whisk together eggs, cream, cheese, salt and pepper
  3. Mix in salami and parsley 
  4. Fill crust with egg mixture and grate more cheese on top
  5. Bake 15-20 minutes, until golden
  • 200g flour
  • pinch salt
  • 200g butter, softened
  • 2-3 tbs of water

  1. Sift flour, salt, butter
  2. Rub together with your fingers, grab big handfuls and squeeze the butter into the flour
  3. Add water and squeeze some more until feels like raw cookie dough
  4. Make a firm ball, flour hands and kneed the dough with your wrists
  5. Flatten and put into pan - push down with extra dough so you don't put any holes in it
  6. Coat with aluminum foil or parchment paper and add weights
  7. Pre-bake at 400 for 10 minutes
  8. Remove weights and return to oven until golden, about 5 minutes
