Espresso Coke Float

several spoonfuls of ice cream
2 oz espresso
1-2 oz rum
2 oz coca-cola

Pour all liquid ingredients over ice cream
Float another spoonful of coke over the drink

Concentrated Cold Brew

10 oz coffee, coarsely ground
5 cups water, filtered

Add just enough water to coffee in French press to get all the grinds wet
After letting sit for a minute add the rest of water and swish
Leave on the counter 18 hours, stirring after 20 minutes
Serve with water, ice, or milk

Dirty Chai

Dirty Chai Latte

6 oz water
2 tbs chai tea
1/2 cup milk
1 tbs maple syrup or 2 tbs honey
2 - 4 oz espresso

Steep tea according to directions
Mix honey with milk and heat/froth
Pull espresso shot and combine in mug with tea
Pour in frothed milk
Sprinkle with cinnamon and/or cardamom

Iced Dirty Chai

6 oz water
2 tbs chai tea
1 tbs honey
6 oz milk
2 - 4 oz espresso or cold brew

Steep tea according to directions
Whisk in the honey
Allow tea to cool
Pour over ice
Pour in coffee and milk
Sprinkle with cinnamon and/or cardamom

Mulled Cider

1 gallon apple cider
1 orange, halved
20ish cloves
2-4 star anise

2-4 cinnamon sticks
1-2 nutmeg
allspice berries
1 chunk peeled ginger (optional)

Stick cloves into rind of orange so they don't end up in your cup
Combine all ingredients in saucepan
Keep at a low simmer for at least an hour

Trader Joe's fall cider is my favorite (I don't care for the one they switch to in November. For extra pretty cider, add some cranberries or pomegranate seeds.
